June 7, 2012 is LA County CPR Day, so join the Culver City Firefighters, Brotman Hospital and Culver City CERT to learn Hands-Only CPR. Training will be conducted at two spots between 9am-12pm. One station will be just east of Starbucks Coffee 9718 Washington Blvd Culver City, CA . The second station will be in front of Grace Lutheran Church at 4427 Overland Ave Culver City, CA 90230.

What is Hands-only CPR? It is CPR without mouth to mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see an adult suddenly collapse in the “out of hospital” setting. It consists of two steps: 1. Call 911 (or send someone to do that) 2. Begin providing high-quality chest compressions by pushing hard and fast in the center of the chest with minimal interruptions.
