The Advisory Committee on Redevelopment (ACOR) was created by the Agency on September 17, 2002, as an evolution of a community advisory group that began as the Project Area Committee for the Washington-Culver Project No 3, in 1975.
The Advisory Committee on Redevelopment was established to review development projects that require Planning Commission and Redevelopment Agency approval and to comment on Agency-initiated or Agency-sponsored projects or programs. The purpose of the committee’s review is to ensure that a project or program meets the goals and objectives of the Redevelopment Plan.
The Committee consists of nine members who are Culver City residents, Culver City business or property representatives from the Project Area or representatives of community organizations active in Culver City, including the Culver City Unified School District. The Advisory Committee on Redevelopment (ACOR) meets on a monthly basis.
