Human Relations
Culver City is committed to promoting harmonious and mutually uplifting relationships among the diverse residents of the community. Events like the Fiesta La Ballona, Martin Luther King Day celebration, and many park and cultural programs have these values at their core.
The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, the Parks & Recreation Commission, the Disability Advisory Committee and the Homelessness Committee are part of the City’s organizational structure dedicated to fostering these values. In addition, we participate in the efforts of the Culver City Area Interfaith Alliance, the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, Westside Shelter & Hunger Coalition, Westside Cities Council of Governments, Committee on Homelessness, and the Los Angeles County Homeless Services Authority, SPA 5.
