Culver City Firefighters Go PINK!

Post Date:10/05/2017

Pink OctoberDuring the month of October, Culver City Firefighters will again be wearing pink to support those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Join them and show your support by purchasing a CCFD breast cancer awareness T-shirt.

PINK OCTOBER shirts are now available at Fire Station 1 (9600 Culver Blvd.). The shirts are $15 and all proceeds go to Linda Rosenberg’s Walk to End Breast Cancer Fundraiser

This year, Culver City firefighters have partnered with Culver City resident Linda Rosenberg as she participates in the Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer. Over 2 days, Linda will walk 39.3 miles! Her cause seeks to improve breast cancer outcomes and reduce disparities in survival rates at the community and national levels. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade focuses on care and seeks to help across the continuum of breast cancer – not only helping those who are at risk or diagnosed with the disease today, but also research into finding better treatments for tomorrow.
