A private company, The Boring Company, has proposed a human transportation tunnel that would run underneath the Westside of Los Angeles. The proposed route is from Hawthorne to West L.A., including underneath Sepulveda Boulevard through Culver City. The Boring Company will give a presentation on its plans at the City Council meeting on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 97700 Culver Boulevard, Culver City, CA 90232. The public will be invited to attend to give public comment and listen to a presentation. Please sign-up for updates to be notified when the meeting is scheduled.
At this time the City of Culver City has not approved any project, nor has the City received an application for any permits or approvals from The Boring Company. The City is currently seeking public input on the proposal.
