Dog License Requirements!

Without identifying information, pets separated from their human companions cannot be reunified with their families. Each year, many more puppies are born than can be adopted. To help resolve this issue, Culver City has launched Project ARF—Culver City’s in-house licensing program. As of July 1, 2007, all dogs must be licensed. To be licensed, each pet must be (1) vaccinated, (2) spayed/neutered, and (3) microchipped.

Dogs need three things:
  • Proof of vaccination
  • Proof of alteration
  • Proof of microchipping

    Annual Dog License fees: $20/dog.

    Dog License Fee Exemption Application

NOTE: Culver City does not require cats to be licensed. Cat licensing is voluntary.
