Come meet our dynamic Rabbi, inspiring Cantor and phenomenal staff as you learn a little about our "haimisch” congregation. Temple Akiba provides something for all ages to stimulate the mind, soothe the soul, comfort the afflicted, and, most importantly, to be a part of a loving, caring community. There will be activities for the children and a nosh for the mind,soul and body. At 5:45 we will all celebrate Havdalah together as one people. We look forward to welcoming you and share with us our wonderful "shul". 4:00 pm: Open House for families with children. Includes guided tour of Temple Akiba, discussion about Nursery School, Religious School, Havurot, Sisterhood, family retreat, day & resident camps, Youth Group and more!! 5:45 pm: Havdalah Service 6:00 pm: Open House for adults. Includes guided tour of Temple Akiba, discussion about Sisterhood, Men's Group, novel discussion, adult retreat, Judaism in 60 minutes, b'nai mitzvah and more!! Wine and cheese reception.
