platine is a gourmet dessert company based in Culver City, California. It was started in 2002 by classically trained chef and pastry chef, Jamie Cantor. Jamie is a veteran of numerous bakeries, hotels, and restaurants, including The French Laundry in the Napa Valley. Upon moving to Los Angeles in late 2001, Jamie decided to start her own company which included a few wholesale cookie accounts and a small catering business focusing on high end dinner parties. Over the years the company has grown to an internet business and finally a retail store in Culver City.

All products produced by platine are freshly baked from all natural ingredients. All items are produced in house and made by hand from original recipes developed by chef Jamie Cantor. We cater to a clientele who appreciates great food with a little whimsy, and we love to introduce them to our sophisticated take on old favorites.
