Ballona Creek

A significant portion of Ballona Creek flows through Culver City. Because of this, Culver City has the unique opportunity to take a leadership role in the planning and design of improvements to the Ballona Creek Corridor. The Focused Special Study offered Culver City the opportunity to identify alternatives for transforming a barren and bleach concrete lined flood control channel into a beautiful linear greenway. This greenway has the potential to provide a safe and attractive system of trails connecting the City of Culver City to its parks, schools, and the Santa Monica Bay.
