City of Culver City Official Election Information
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 1500 of the City Charter, there shall be an election held to elect two members of the City Council each for a full term of four years. Election Day 2014 is Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
This webpage provides updated information related to the election and the various processes that culminate in the voters casting their ballots on April 8, 2014, the counting of the ballots, and ultimately the swearing in of those persons elected to the City Council. As we get closer to Election Day, additional information will be posted as it becomes available. Please click on the links below for specific information that is currently available:
The nomination and election processes can be complex. To ensure candidates are provided with an opportunity to ask questions about the candidates’ information packet, persons seeking nomination for candidacy are required to contact the City Clerk’s Office at 310-253-5851 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are not available on Wednesday, December 25, 2013; Thursday, December 26, 2013; Friday, December 27, 2013; Wednesday, January 1, 2014; or January 10, 2014.
The City Clerk’s Office is located on the First Floor of City Hall (9770 Culver Boulevard – Culver City, CA 90232) with normal business hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday – City Hall is closed alternate Fridays.
