The Recreation Division provides a variety of fee-based After School Programs to assist in the supervision of children immediately after school until 6:00p.m.

- Why can’t you have more staff and more kids in the program?
For safety concerns CCARP must maintain a 1 to 14 staff to student ratio. Due to limited space and budget the maximum limit of students is 28.
- Why can’t you hold spots in CCARP for the whole year?
CCARP is a week to week program. The week to week enrollment process makes the program more flexible and affordable for the program participants.
- How can I keep from being bumped out of the program due to the class filling up before I make my payment?
The only way to avoid being bumped from the CCARP program is to make your payments 3 to 5 weeks in advance on a continuous basis.
- Can I pay month to month and still hold my spot?
Yes; you can make your payments month to month, but it will not stop you from being bumped. The only way to avoid being bumped from the CCARP program is to make your payments 3 to 5 weeks in advance on a continuous basis.
- When is the registration office open?
Mon. – Fri. 11:30am – 6:30pm & Sat. 10am – 4pm
- Can I sign up and pay on-line without coming into the office?
Yes; you can sign-up and pay for CCARP online at https://activenet20.active.com/culvercity
- What is the child to staff ratio? 1 staff to 14 students
- What is the CCARP staff’s education and training?
CCARP staff have a minimum of 60 units of college credits and/or a minimum 2 years of experience working with child in a camp or after school child care program. All staff must pass a California Department of Justice background check.
- What is the cost for the program?
$52 per week for Culver City residents and $62 per week for non-Culver City residents.
- What is the 2nd child discount price?
The 2nd child in the family discount price is $47 per week for Culver City residents and $57 per week for non-Culver City residents.
