This service is offered in both English and Spanish.

The Congregate Meals Program, Home Delivered Meals Program and the Telephone Reassurance Program are funded, in part, by the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging, through the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, the City of Culver City and the generous donations made by program participants and our community. If you would like to make a contribution, please contact Roxana Tabibi email or call (310) 253-6712.
Diabetes Support Group
(310) 253-6712
First Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Through the Nutrition Program, we offer a Diabetes Support Group for seniors (60 over) who have pre-diabetes, diabetes, or are taking care of someone who does have diabetes. A new participant must always register through the Nutrition Staff. A referral will be made to the registered dietitian. The dietitian facilitates group participation and sharing in addition to providing important information to improve seniors' health.
This class is held at the Culver City Senior Center. The Diabetes Support Group is funded through the ENHANCE program (Effective Nutritional Health Assessments and Networks of Care for the Elderly).
Health & Wellness Resources
(310) 253-6712
In an on-going effort to provide educational information on Health and Wellness, we have provided the links below to some useful web sites that we believe may offer guidance to enhance and enrich your health.
Falling is the leading cause of unintentional injury at home among Americans 65 and older. “Stopfall.org” is the official website of the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence. Their mission is to identify best practices in fall prevention and to help communities offer fall prevention programs to older people who are at risk of falling.

The National Council on Aging is registering individuals for Better Choices, Better Health™, a free, six-week, interactive workshop for people with chronic conditions. It can be completed from any computer with an Internet connection, including dial-up. Spaces are limited, however, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
