
Culver City Contracts with spcaLA for Sheltering Services

Effective January 5, 2009, the City of Culver City formed a partnership with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (spcaLA) to provide sheltering services for animals impounded in Culver City.
The City is currently concluding the recruitment process for its own Animal Services Officer. The City will continue to work with the County of Los Angeles’ Department of Animal Care and Control for animal control field services. Animals impounded by both the City Animal Services Officer and County Animal Control Officers will be brought to the spcaLA’s shelter in Hawthorne for sheltering. The address of the shelter is:
