One day of training will prepare you for the project--you need not be an art expert!  Arts Matter will supply all art posters and materials used in the program.  Experienced volunteers work with new recruits in the classroom for the first 3 lessons, so you are not alone when you start out.  The program is one day a  week--volunteers give approximately 2.5 hours a week of time--one hour of preparation at home fro each weeks's aret project, one hour in the classroom during the regular school day, and commute time to and from the school.  Classes are usually from 10-11am or 11-noon.
