Many varied positions: readers; recorders; clerical office aide; lunch room assistants; Braille press assistant (creating Braille books fro adults and dhildren); teachers of all kinds -- ESL, knitting, sewing, computers, cooking, music (vocal & instrumental), creative arts, yoga, Pilates, etc.

Blind service organization that provides hope and encouragement for people who are blind and visually impaired through free integrated educational, social and recreational programs and services. They provide assistance at five regional centers in Southern California and through 140 Community Outreach programs.


Requirements:

Skills: They have a great need for bilingual (English and Spanish) volunteers. Minimum volunteer age is 16. The closest facility to Culver City is located off the 101 Hollywood Freeway on Vermont Avenue, about a 30-40 minute drive.
