Special Interim Application Period to Appoint Members to Vacant Positions
The Special Interim Application Period ended on January 31, 2018 at 5:00PM to fill the following positions:
Civil Service Commission, Landlord-Tenant Mediation Board (1 Tenant Position), Finance Advisory Committee (1 Local Business Position), Fiesta La Ballona Committee, Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (1 Resident position), and LAX Area Advisory Committee.
Appointments for these openings, which have different start/end dates, are scheduled to be considered by the City Council on Monday, February 12, 2018. New appointees will be required to attend a Brown Act /AB1234 (Ethics) training within one year of accepting a position. Applicants are encouraged to reach out to City Council members.
