Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria and the October California Wildfires. Many of our community members have asked how they can help. According to FEMA, the best way to help is with cash donations to trusted organizations.
The Culver City Senior Center is temporarily relocating programs to alternate locations, and some classes will be cancelled.

During periods of extreme heat conditions, extra precaution should be taken to ensure the safety of older adults, infants and children, as well individuals who participate in outdoor activities or those who are sensitive to the heat. High temperatures mean an increased risk of heat exhaustion, heat cramps or sunstroke.

On May 23, the Culver City Fire Department sent a brush clearance letter to all community members residing in moderate, severe and very high fire hazard severity zones in Culver City.
