Discriminatory Land Use Policies

Community members gathered at Antioch University LA on November 21, 2019 for a Speaker Series event on 'Discriminatory Land Use Policies.' Culver City welcomed Richard Rothstein, Distinguished Fellow of the Economic Policy Institute and author of The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America, and John Kent, Culver City resident and author of the Streetsblog LA article on "The Hidden History of Culver City Racism." Council Member Daniel Lee and Kelly Lytle Hernández, Professor of History, African American Studies, and Urban Planning, at UCLA led the discussion after the presentations.
