Completed applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and may be submitted electronically, mailed to, or dropped off at MCLM. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted. Receipt of application does not guarantee a volunteer position. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact the applicant to confirm receipt of the application. Applications will be reviewed by the Volunteer Coordinator and appropriate staff members in light of current needs and openings. Due to MCLM's small staff, please allow up to seven (7) business days to receive a response. Applications will be kept on file for one year for future consideration as openings occur. If selected, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact perspective volunteers within one week to provide an update or to schedule a time for an interview. During the interview the Volunteer Coordinator and the applicant will discuss goals, work plans, and expectations; be introduced to the staff; and take a tour of MCLM. Once selected as a volunteer, applicants will be assigned a project, or a work-plan will be finalized, and a work schedule set. The Volunteer Coordinator will serve as the volunteer's primary contact.
