Services Provided:
Singing and dancing groups go out and visit local nursing and convalescent homes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. Wed and Fri is singers and Thurs is square dancers. In addition, a karaoke group performs Wednesday 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Senior Center.
Volunteer positions:
Anyone with a great set of pipes or square dancing skills. We also need pianists to accompany the singers. Singers & Dancers meet between 1-1:30 p.m. at the Center, gigs are 2-3 p.m. Participants may also drive themselves to each site and meet the group. Karaoke is less formal, but you must be a Center member or registered volunteer to participate.
Notes:
The carpool is full so anyone interested will need to have their own transportation to the weekly sites. Monthly schedules are available the 1st of each month in the office.
