LA County Food Resources

Los Angeles County is committed to preventing hunger and ensuring access to food for all residents. The County is currently mobilizing a Countywide response to hunger by coordinating public agencies, nonprofits, and volunteers to provide meals to anyone in need during the weeks and months to come.

LA County residents can visit the County COVID-19 website's food portal to receive or provide support at this critical time.  In addition to these new LA County resources, the locally run Culver City Emergency Relief Food Drive and FeedCulver continue to assist those in need in the Culver City community. Information for both programs are noted below.

For assistance, or if you know someone who does not have access to the Internet, ask them to dial 2-1-1. Multilingual operators are available to help members of the public find free food resources.

Restaurant Meals Program

Restaurant Meals is a CalFresh Program that allows you to use your Golden State Advantage (EBT) card to purchase prepared meals from participating restaurants.

Visit the Restaurant Meals web page to see eligibility requirements and to apply.

Groceries To Go

Culver-Palms Family YMCA offers pantry staples and fresh produce each week to residents of Culver-City and Los Angeles through their Groceries to Go program.  Stop by the Culver-Palms YMCA (4500 Sepulveda Blvd.) between 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Thursdays to pick-up produce for your household. The produce is from Food Forward, and in addition to the Y Groceries to Go program, the Culver-Palms YMCA continues to support FeedCulver, providing pantry staples and fresh produce to Grace Diner and S.A.V.E.S weekly, as well as the Culver City Backpacks for Kids program when supplies are available.
