Join us for the Veterans Memorial Park Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Wider Image of New Play Equipment at Vets Park dated 01-09-18Now that the new play equipment has been child-tested and approved over the past couple of weeks, please join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park Playground.

Here are the details:

WHO:  Hosted by the Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department

WHAT:  The Veterans Memorial Park Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

WHEN:  Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 4:30 PM

WHERE:  4117 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230.

The Park is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Overland Avenue and Culver Boulevard.  Free parking and the playground are accessible via Culver Boulevard.

WHY:  To celebrate our new playground equipment!  The occasion will include brief comments by Culver City dignitaries, light refreshments, and a give-away for attendees.  The new play equipment is suitable for children ages 5 through 12.  The adjacent playground for children ages 2 through 5 will also be open for enjoyment.  We hope to see you there!

This playground equipment replacement project was fully funded by Proposition A Maintenance and Servicing Funds.  The City of Culver City acknowledges the Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District as the administrator of these funds.
