Los Angeles County, in cooperation with Culver City and the City of Los Angeles, has undertaken a project to construct a pedestrian bridge across La Cienega Boulevard to link the multi-use path from Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area to the beach. The project includes undergrounding the utilities on La Cienega Boulevard from Wrightcrest Drive to south of the new pedestrian bridge. The new pedestrian bridge will be installed sometime in 2020.

From Monday, May 6 through July 31, 2019, the community should plan for major traffic delays on La Cienega Boulevard from Rodeo Road (Obama Bl) to Stocker Street. Lane closures will occur first southbound, and then northbound starting on June 3rd, on La Cienega Boulevard. Traffic lane closures will be necessary to complete the work quickly and safely. Please try to find alternative routes if possible. Lane closures will occur from 9AM to 3PM.

For more project information, please contact Southern California Edison’s Robert Ciccarelli at (714) 430-7842. Thank you for your patience during construction.
