The Culver City Housing Authority is responsible for developing, preserving, and administering affordable housing programs and projects for low to moderate income households to ensure that all neighborhoods are quality livable places that are free of blight, where residents feel safe, and can access resources and services. Our mission is to support and enhance the social well-being of the citizens of Culver City and expand affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income families.
The Community Development Department is responsible for guiding, monitoring, and facilitating development within Culver City. The six divisions that make up the Department each play a separate but mutually supporting role in community building.

Please join the City Council for its discussion of options regarding a rent freeze (moratorium on rent increases), and direction to staff. The meeting will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Mike Balkman Council Chambers, City Hall 9770 Culver Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232. The City Council agenda item reports are available for viewing online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time for regular meetings and no later than 24 hours prior to a special meeting on the City of Culver City website or at the City Clerk’s Office.
