Ebb & Flow: Culver City

Ebb & Flow: Culver City, a free community festival curated by Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre (HDDT), is taking over Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook on February 3 from 12 pm - 7 pm. The day-long event is kicking off HDDT's year of using site-specific dance to celebrate the environment and integrate dance, visual arts, and technology to explore our relationship with the world around us. Perfect for everyone in the family, the festival will feature site-specific performances from diverse local artists, free public dance workshops for all ages and abilities, booths from local artists, and educational sessions from Culver City environmental organizations.

Choreographers featured in the event include Comfort Fedoke [So You Think You Can Dance All-Star], Ryan Walker Page, Tess Hewlett, and Rebecca Lemme [Acts of Matter], with opening remarks from travel writer and public speaker Jedidiah Jenkins, Executive Editor of Wilderness Magazine. The festival will also feature student performances by Loyola Marymount University, St. Mary’s Academy, and Culver City High School.
