The City is limited to posting locally-held events for Culver City community and non-profit organizations.  Your request will be reviewed by the appropriate person, and upon approval, it will be posted on the City's Community Calendar.

Speaker Series Event: Healthy Communities

The City of Culver City is updating its General Plan! In coordination with this effort, the City is hosting an exciting Speaker Series to discuss critical issues affecting the City, the region, and beyond. The entire community is invited to join the discussion!

Please join us on Wednesday, December 11, to hear Gayle Haberman, Tom Kelly, Louise McCarthy, and Stephanie Ramirez present on ‘Healthy Communities.’ Each speaker works with various populations including seniors, people with disabilities, and residents in low-income communities, and will discuss opportunities to design infrastructure and services to support healthy communities. Join us on December 11 to learn what Culver City can do to become a healthier place to live for all.  

Gayle Haberman is the Director of the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Development in the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Tom Kelly is the Interim Executive Director of the Westside Regional CenterLouise McCarthy is the President & CEO of the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), and Stephanie Ramirez is the Associate State Director of Community with AARP California.
