Planners from around LA region tour Culver City!

About 50 planners from the American Planning Association, Los Angeles Section came from all around the region to tour Culver City via Culver CityBus on Saturday, July 21st. Summer in the City is one of APA Los Angeles's most popular event series, with Culver City's selling out weeks in advance. Sites visited included The Wende MuseumOne CulverWeWorkKirk Douglas TheaterThe Actors' Gang: Ivy SubstationThe Culver StudiosIvy StationPlatformHelms Bakery DistrictHayden TractBallona Creek, and more. Topics of discussion were Culver City's Cultural Corridor, creative offices, transit oriented developments, urban revitalization and restoration, and placemaking. Mayor Small and Cultural Affairs Commission members Len Dickter and Tania Fleischer joined in on the fun as well!
