Abilities Carnival and Resource Fair
Disability Awareness Month
The 15th Annual Kids Carnival celebrating Culver City’s Disability Awareness Month takes place on Sunday, October 21st from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Culver City Senior Center, located at 4095 Overland Avenue (on the corner of Culver Blvd. and Overland). The event is completely free of charge for youth, families and adults. RSVP is required so that event planners may assure that adequate quantities of food, prizes and craft supplies are available. Participants must call (310) 253-6707 to confirm attendance.
As usual the Giddy Up Ranch petting zoo will be available—along with carnival game booths, a karaoke stage, photo booth, community resource tables, a quiet activity room, an arts and crafts area and a clown who will make balloon animals for the kids. All activities have been specially designed to be accessible to children and people of all abilities. Free hot dogs, burgers, pizza, cotton candy and popcorn will also be served.
This is an event of Culver City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department and is made possible through sponsorship from Culver City Exchange Club and Culver City Senior Citizens Association, Inc. Other event partners include Culver City’s Disability Advisory Committee and Culver City Neighborhood Girl Scouts.
