Recycle Your Old Mattresses & Box Springs

Post Date:04/16/2019 2:30 PM

Culver City is participating in the Bye Bye Mattress program, which is a statewide mattress recycling program created by a 2013 law and managed by the Mattress Recycling Council. As a participating collection site, Bye Bye Mattress accepts mattresses and box springs for free.

It's easy to dispose of your old mattress. All you have to do is call Customer Service at (310) 253-6400 to schedule a pickup. The service is free to residents living in single-family homes and available for a small bulk pickup charge to all others.

The mattresses and box springs that Bye Bye Mattress collects are diverted from landfills and used to make other useful products, like carpet padding, insulation, filters, and mulch. This program is also helping deter illegal dumping.
