Connect with Culver City Public Works
Throughout the year, Culver City Public Works Environmental Programs and Operations will offer free workshops, classes, and events for Culver City residents. These programs are offered free thanks to partnerships the city has with other agencies, community groups, and organizations.
Here are ways you can get involved:
- All events are posted on the city calendar.
- You can also receive advanced notice of these events by signing up for email notifications.
- Help maintain Culver City’s rain gardens, which are planted with native vegetation to enhance water quality, provide habitat for native wildlife, and beautify a stretch of Ballona Creek. Locations: South Creek Side (Commercial area at the end of Pearson Ave., 500 feet from Jefferson Blvd. Park on Jefferson Blvd.) and North Creek Side (Residential area at the end of Jackson Ave., behind locked gate, which will be opened for workday events.) To learn more, visit the Bay Foundation website.
- Download our Waste & Recycling App to receive real-time communications on emergencies, delayed collections, events, and more. The Recycle Coach™ app is free to download and it is available from the iTunes Store and Google Play.
