Music, Theatre and Dance supported by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program

The 25th anniversary of the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program continues during fall and winter of 2019 with a diverse array of upcoming performances.

October 2019
CRE Outreach & Theatre by the Blind present Point of Extinction with original songs performed by Rex & Friends. The performances takes place on Sunday October 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Robert Frost Auditorium. For tickets and information visit CRE Outreach's website or call (310) 425-8215.

On October 13, 2019, SASSAS (The Society For The Activation of Social Space Through Art and Sound) celebrates the 20th anniversary of sound. at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook (artists to be announced). Visit the SASSAS website for details. 

 

November 2019
On November 23, 2019, Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra visits the Robert Frost Auditorium for a family-friendly performance of Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf performed in both English & Spanish. For tickets and information visit the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra website.

 

December 2019
Baroque orchestra, KONTRAPUNKTUS, performs classical music on December 7, 2019 at Seventh-Day Adventist Church (program to be announced). Visit the Kontrapunktus website for details and tickets.

The grant season concludes with a site-specific dance performance by Donna Sternberg & Dancers. The show is inspired by the current exhibition and is performed at The Wende Museum. For updates visit the Donna Sternberg & Dancers website.
