Vial of Life Program

Post Date:11/01/2017

VialOfLifeThe Culver City Fire Department and the Culver City Senior Center Board are bringing back the VIAL OF LIFE Program. “LIFE” stands for:

  • Lifesaving
  • Information
  • for
  • Emergencies

If an emergency occurs at your home and you aren’t able to communicate with first responders, your Vial of Life will be able to “speak” for you, as it will contain important medical information needed for paramedics to give you the best care possible.

Participate in this lifesaving program by getting your Vial of Life Kit. The kit contains:

  • One plastic baggie – fold your completed form and any other documents (e.g., EKG, DNR, etc.) and place them in the baggie.
  • One red Culver City Fire Department refrigerator magnet – use this to hold the baggie with medical documents onto your refrigerator at eye level.
  • Two Vial of Life decals – one decal goes on the baggie; the other decal goes on your front door at eye level.
