Services Provided: A social agency that helps low income and homeless individuals and families work towards self-sufficiency. Our motto is “planting hope, growing lives.”
Volunteer Positions: Help serve meals in a restaurant-style setting; after school tutor or mentor for youth; child care teacher’s assistant; check-in clients for services; food pantry distribution; grocery delivery for seniors; summer arts club assistance; job and life skills training such as resume help or computer classes; general clerical needs with various programs.
Notes: Shifts are weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thrift store is open on the weekends. They have partnerships with high school and college service learning students, so their volunteer needs increase May-Sept. when school is not in session.
