Please stop by our office at the Culver City Senior Center on Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or contact Volunteer Specialist Jill Thomsen at 310.253.6722 or via email.

Volunteers must be 14 years or older and able to commit to a weekly schedule for a minimum of 3 months. Volunteers are assigned to the same 2 hour hour shift each week. Duties will vary depending on your assigned shift time, but may include helping preparing animal diets, cleaning enclosures, and washing dishes. Volunteers do not directly handle the animals.

To apply: Download the Volunteer Application form and fax it to 310-842-8245 or email ecovolunteers@starinc.org. Once your application has been received and approved, you will be contacted regarding upcoming volunteer orientation dates and times.

Note: STAR Eco Station currently has a waitlist for volunteers. You can still send in your completed volunteer application; however, there may be a short wait until a space opens in our volunteer schedule.
