On April 21, 2022, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) reported the City’s 6th Cycle (2021-2029) Adopted Housing Element Housing and Community Development (HCD) Review Results(PDF, 229KB).

Background

As part of the City of Culver City’s General Plan Update (GPU), a draft 2021-2029 Housing Element was posted online. The Housing Element is the main planning guide to meet Culver City’s current and future housing needs. The City requested public input on the Draft Housing Element. Public input informed the final draft prepared for the Planning Commission’s recommendation in November 2021 and City Council’s adoption decision in December 2021.
