This artwork comprises 24 glass panels with a silkscreened image of vertical cacti, derived from the artist’s 2003 photograph of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Freeman House in Los Angeles. The artwork spans three stories of the main entryway to the building, including the entry doors. This “window wall” was created in Germany using ink made of glass particles, pigments, and emulsion to print directly on the glass, which is then fused at high temperatures.
Kellndorfer lives in Berlin, Germany, and exhibits all over the world. She also works with international architects.
