Lafayette Place Garden

The City Hall Master Plan is informed by extensive input from community members and local stakeholders and is created by wHY Architects. Fundamental considerations included the integration of historic City Hall buildings and the landscape, public space, opportunities for art and cultural programming and their spatial requirements.

The resulting Master Plan consists of layers of civic, commemorative, cultural, and botanical interventions, the first being the Lafayette Place Garden, which will reimagine the Lafayette Place side of City Hall as a resilient and colorful garden and play space for City residents.
