NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING

The City  Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning the following:

WHO:      Shane Swerdlow/Craig Lawson (Applicant) // Silvestre G. Gonzales/Gonzo 11, LLC (Property Owner)

WHAT:   The Zone Change request involves changing a portion of the property’s Zoning to make it consistent with the General Plan designation that will facilitate a small 2,167 square foot addition to an existing remote customer auto repair facility to accommodate additional vehicle repair space. (Case Nos: P2021-0043-CUP/AUP/ZCMA/CE).

WHEN:     Monday August 8, 2022 at 7 PM

WHY:       The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and to receive public input on the proposed project.  

CEQA:    The Class 1–Existing Facilities CEQA Categorical Exemption adopted by the Planning Commission on June 8, 2022 for Case No. P2021-0043-CUP/AUP/ZCMA, determined that the Project will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. General Plan Map Amendment P2021-0043–ZCMA is within the scope of the adopted Categorical Exemption and the circumstances under which the Categorical Exemption was prepared have not significantly changed, and no new significant information has been found that would impact the Categorical Exemption.  Therefore, no additional environmental analysis is required.

The City Council Agenda and Project staff report will be available for viewing at City Hall and online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.  Submit comments BEFORE 3 PM on Monday, August 8, 2022, by LETTER to Culver City Current Planning Division, Attention: Jose Mendivil, 9770 Culver Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Culver City, CA 90232, FAX at (310) 253-5721, EMAIL to jose.mendivil@culvercity.org, or PHONE at (310) 253-5757.  City Hall Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed every other Friday (Closed July 29th).  The Project file including the plans are currently available to view by contacting the case planner.
