Citywide Parks Plan

Culver City Parks Plan Logo

The Culver City Parks Plan is a strategic guide for the development and management of the city's parks, recreational facilities and programs, and is aimed at enhancing community health and quality of life. In 2024, Culver City Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) began the development of a new Parks Plan which examines the current and future needs of the city's recreational infrastructure, considering varied perceptions and uses of park space.

With your input, the Culver City Parks Plan aims to:

  • Create a plan that will successfully serve the community for at least 15 years.
  • Engage a wide range of key groups and community members in Culver City.
  • Formulate a recommendation for Culver City Parks updates that are most necessary to meet the community’s priorities.

Community Meeting Information

We’re excited to announce the Parks Plan "Lunchtime Update" Virtual Community Meeting for the Culver City Parks Plan on July 23, 2024 from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm on Zoom. This meeting will focus on updating the community on survey and engagement findings, park needs and opportunities, and next steps. Resources will be provided to allow attendees to learn more about recent project updates, and there will be an opportunity to share feedback and to ask questions. Sign-Up to attend the Lunchtime Update Virtual Community Meeting

The first round of community meetings involved three meetings in May.  The first meeting was held at Syd Kronenthal Park, the second meeting was a virtual meeting, and the third meeting was held at El Marino Park.  You can find the meeting materials and the virtual recording from the May meetings at the Parks Plan Website.

Survey is now open!

Survey is available as part of the city's outreach plan, a parks plan survey in English  and a parks survey in Spanish  for community members to provide feedback.

Your voice is crucial as the Culver City Parks System is brought up to date!
