When in operation, staff at the Culver City Teen Center provide a wide variety drop-in services year round for residents and students attending Culver City Middle School and High School. Membership is $50 per semester per teen. Registration may be done online or in-person at the Recreation Registration Office located at 4117 Overland Avenue, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 7 PM, Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM - 5 PM.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 2:15 PM to 6:30 PM
Wednesdays – 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Activities

This is a drop-in program; students are able to sign themselves in and out as needed.

What activities do you offer?

Drop-in Activities include: 

  • Outdoor Patio
  • Video game station
  • Multipurpose Room
  • Television/Movie Room
  • Seasonal special events
  • Group activities & games
  • Game Room with pool tables, ping pong, foosball & arcade games
  • Homework Room where students can study in a quiet environment
  • Computer Lab has computers with internet access for student homework and school project use

 

FAQ

Will you pick my child up from his/her school?

No; the Teen Center structures programming for drop-in activities.  We provide a safe, inclusive, supervised, and fun program at the Teen Center for youth when they walk, bike, or get a lift to the Teen Center after school. 

Can you make sure my child stays in the Teen Center?

Our staff is responsible for children inside of our facility. We cannot force them to stay inside of our building. We are a drop-in program.

Is there supervision?

Yes, we have recreation leaders in each room available for use during the program.

How much does membership cost?

Semester membership is $50.00 per teen.  

What if my child needs extra support?

The Culver City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department believes in providing quality programs for all community members. While each program site and amenities are slightly different in nature, PRCS staff-run programs that strive to maintain a 1:12 child to staff ratio. Our afterschool programs and camps are designed to balance the needs of each child with the needs of all participants. If you believe your child may need additional assistance, reasonable accommodations can be made with prior arrangements. Please contact the PRCS Department to speak with the Recreation and Community Services Supervisor or Manager.
