City Attorney

The City Attorney's Office provides high quality, timely and cost effective legal guidance, support and representation for all City Officials and City Staff on matters of law pertaining to their duties and responsibilities.

City Clerk

The City Clerk’s Office, as a division of the City Manager's Office, is responsible for maintaining the City’s legislative history; administering and supervising municipal elections; ensuring legislative compliance; administering the City’s record management program; and the facilitation of regular, special, and emergency meetings of the City Council.

City Manager

The City Manager's Office is responsible for preparation of the City's Operating and Capital Improvements Budgets, grants administration, personnel matters and Council agenda preparation.

Enforcement Services

Staff works closely with the community in hopes of gaining voluntary compliance.

Finance Department

The Finance Department administers financial transactions, maintains financial records and advises City officials on the financial condition of the City.

Fire

The mission of the Culver City Fire Department is to protect life, property, and the environment by providing prompt and professional fire protection and life safety services.

Housing and Human Services

Housing and Human Services focuses on ensuring the well-being and quality of life of all Culver City residents, both housed and unhoused. Services include housing, homeless, mental health, substance abuse, and crisis intervention.

Human Resources Department

Mobility & Traffic Engineering Division (MTE)

Mobility & Traffic Engineering Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for construction, maintenance, and oversight of the City’s mobility infrastructure and programs.

Office of Economic and Cultural Development

Cultural Affairs' core functions include support of the Cultural Affairs Commission (CAC) and its various subcommittees in implementing Cultural Affairs programs and projects.

Planning and Development

The Planning and Development Department is responsible for guiding, monitoring, and facilitating land use development within Culver City. The three divisions that make up the Department include: Current Planning, Advanced Planning and Building & Safety.

Police

The Culver City police department is responsible for providing public safety services to the city of Culver City.

Public Works

Public Works is responsible for construction, maintenance, and oversight of the City’s infrastructure, including buildings, streets, sewer, and the urban forest. The Public Works Department also manages refuse collection, supports business development, and manages mobility and environmental improvement projects.

Technology

Information Technology is responsible for providing desktop computing, telecommunications, and network services to all departments and divisions within the City. Information Technology provides project management, systems planning, design, and programming support for the enhancement of existing and new systems.

Transportation

The transportation department is responsible for maintaining city vehicles and public transportation with the Culver CityBus transit system.
