NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING

The Planning Commission is pleased to invite your participation in a public hearing concerning the following:

WHO:      Kevin Read; Oceanhold (Applicant Representative) / Reid Kaufman; Bastion Development (the Applicant)

WHAT:     Consideration of a Site Plan Review (SPR), Density and Other Bonus Incentives (DOBI), and Administrative Use Permit (AUP) allowing a 5 to 6 level, mixed-use project, with 19,012 SF of ground floor commercial space, tandem parking, and 144 residential units with 104 units in Culver City and 40 units in Los Angeles (5 Very Low-Income & 11 Workforce units in Culver City and 3 extremely low income units in Los Angeles), in the CG Zone in Culver City and R3-1 Zone in Los Angeles (Culver City Case Nos.: P2021-0103-SPR/DOBI/AUP).

WHEN:    Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 7 PM.

WHY:       The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and receive public input on the proposed SPR and DOBI to allow the mixed-use project and consider approval of the SPR and recommendation to the City Council for the DOBI.  The Planning Commission will be considering only the Culver City portion.

CEQA:     Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) statutes, the Project is exempt from CEQA statutes as a transit priority project implementing Sustainable Communities Strategy objectives pursuant to CEQA Statues 21155 through 21155.4 because the transit priority project meets all of the requirements of CEQA Section 21155.1, subdivisions (a) and (b) and one of the requirements of CEQA Section 21155.1 subdivision (c).
