WHO:      Redcar Properties, Ltd. (Applicant)

WHAT:     Request for Site Plan Review (SPR) and Administrative Modification (AM) to allow the addition of 27,008 square feet to an existing industrial building to create a 48,906 square foot office building with 4 feet-3½ inches of additional building height above Code standard in the Industrial General (IG) Zone and Industrial General Plan Designation (Case No. P2024-0038-SPR/AM).

WHEN:     Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 7 PM

WHY:       The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and to receive public input on the proposed Site Plan Review and Administrative Modification and consider approval of the request.

CEQA:     The proposed Project is considered exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant Section 15332, Class 32 – In-Fill Development Project because the project is consistent with the General Plan policies and Zoning Code regulations; occurs within city limits on a project no more than five acres, surrounded by urban uses; does not have value as a habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species; would not result in significant effects related to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality, and proposes to adequately provide all required utilities and public services.

The Planning Commission Agenda and Project staff report is available for viewing at City Hall and online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
