Successor Agency

On January 9, 2012, the City Council adopted Resolution 2012-R001 designating the City to serve as the Successor Agency to the Culver City Redevelopment Agency.

The Successor Agency has the authority to perform certain functions and duties, including but not limited to making payments and performing enforceable obligations, and expeditiously winding down the affairs of the Agency.

As part of its duties, the Successor Agency prepares proposed administrative budgets and submit them to the Los Angeles County Oversight Board for its approval pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 34177.
