CRV - Take Back Program
SoCal Recycling has been selected by Culver City to participate in a first of its kind mobile recycling program. The SoCal Recycling mobile recycling center will be available in different locations throughout Culver City on different days, making it easier for the community to recycle and redeem their CRV recyclable materials.
Allowed Recyclables
Recyclables include the following items packaged in aluminum, glass, plastic, or bimetal beverage containers. For redemption please ensure containers are empty.
- Beer and Malt Beverages
- Wine Coolers & Distilled Spirit Coolers
- Carbonated Fruit Drinks
- Non-Carbonated Fruit Drinks
- Carbonated Water
- Coffee & Tea Beverages
- Non-Carbonated Water
- Carbonated Soft Drinks
- Vegetable Juice (16 oz. and under)
- "Sport" Drinks

These locations are closed daily from 12:00pm to 12:30pm for lunch.

Weight Limit
Daily load limits are 25 pounds of aluminum, 25 pounds of plastic and 100 pounds of glass per vehicle

*Refund is not for packaging, contamination such as dirt or moisture, nor beverage containers not properly labeled with the "CA Redemption Value," "CA Refund," "CA CRV" message.
*This recycler will discount the refund value, and may discount scrap value for loads of containers that include non-redemption material. *The consumer has the right to:
a) Accept a discounted refund and/or scrap price.
b) Separate refund from non-refund material.
c) Take the material back.
