Culver City Resource Day by Better Angels

Do you enjoy serving with friendly people? Are you ready to make a difference in Culver City serving our neighbors?

Together: Better Angels LA is partnering with the non-profit Grace Diner to organize and host a resource day for Grace Diner's unhoused community.

What: Being friendly and ready to serve are the main requirements!

Why this project matters: Unhoused neighbors will be able to access service and resources.

Wear: Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Wear closed-toe shoes and leave your jewelry and bags at home. If you've volunteered with Better Angels before, feel free to wear your Better Angels T-shirt to show your support!

Tools: All necessary supplies will be provided.

Age: All ages are welcome. We will have family-friendly activities. 

What We Will Do

Each shift has different roles:

• Set up tables, chairs, crafts: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
• Set up & manage games: 2:00 - 5:00 PM
• Help organize crafts and art:  2:00 - 5:00 PM
• Welcome guests - answer questions and assist with connecting them to the provided resources: 2:30 - 5:00 PM
• Take down decorations and decor:  5 - 6 PM
