Recreational Swim Has Returned!
Pre-registration for a 70 minute time block is required but the layout will resemble our pre COVID-19 recreational swim. With shallow water open areas for participants to navigate freely, a deep water play lane, diving boards and log rolling for those that pass the swim test, we can't wait to have you back! Please remember children under 48 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older in the water within arms reach at all times- the adult to child ratio must be 1 to 1.
The City’s goal is always to make the Plunge as safe as possible and provide a welcoming environment for the hundreds of patrons we serve each day. The City reserves the right to close the pool without advanced notice for special events, filming and in the case of emergencies.
PLEASE NOTE: Pool is closed September 6, October 29, October 30 and October 31.
Recreational Swim is a family-oriented program enjoyed by people of all ages. The City has implemented recreation swim rules that are designed for the safety of all participants. Participants are encouraged to enjoy recreation swimming safely and to follow the direction of the lifeguards at all times. Participants must pre-register on line for a 70 minute time block and standby will be available to fill any spaces remaining open at 10 minutes after the hour. See Recreational Swim Times and Guidelines below.
Reserve a half of a lane for 50 minutes for up to four participants (must be at least 1 youth) from the same household to play and recreate! No lap swim permitted within the family swim lanes.
