Family Ceramics Workshops with Katy Krantz, Artist Laureate

Join Culver City Artist Laureate Katy Krantz to hand make ceramics as part of a collaborative project.
Especially for ages 5 – 12 with a parent or caregiver.

Participants may attend one or both events.

Culver City Julian Dixon Library
4975 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230

Participants will make individual ceramic pieces, which will then be fired and included in a large-scale hanging sculpture. The project, consisting of hundreds of individual ceramic pinch pots and beads, will reflect the myriad perspectives and experiences present in the Culver City community.

Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Please register every individual in your party, including kids. This will be used to save your spots in the program. We cannot guarantee availability for any unregistered attendees.

This event is held in-person. LA County Public Health strongly encourages masks and physical distancing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will continue to be available for customers upon request.

The Culver City Artist Laureate Program is a collaboration between the City of Culver City -- the City Council and Cultural Affairs Commission -- and Culver City Arts Foundation (Culver Arts).
