The City of Culver City invites the public to join at the Mental Wellness Resource Fair on Tuesday, February 27th. The City will introduce the Culver City Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). This team is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and effective response to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

“For far too long leaders have ignored the growing mental health crisis in our communities," said Mayor Yasmine-Imani McMorrin. "I’m proud that Culver City has joined neighboring cities in investing in finding common sense solutions to tackling this growing epidemic. Our Mobile Crisis Team pilot program shows our commitment to meeting the needs of our neighbors, as we continue to build a healthier Culver City.”

In addition to the launch, partnering mental and behavioral health providers will be present with informative booths, offering resources and insights to enhance the community's mental health and well-being. Activities will include yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and art.
