Mark Your Calendars for Love Local Events This Spring

As part of the #ChooseCulverCity campaign, the City of Culver City is hosting three Love Local events to spotlight local performers, enhance economic efforts, enrich commercial corridors, and support neighborhood businesses. Save the date for our next three events happening on April 27th, May 23rd, and June 28th!

Love Local x Good Festival @ Westfield Culver City

Saturday, April 27th (1 PM - 4 PM)
6000 Sepulveda Boulevard ~ Culver City, CA 90230

Let's celebrate sustainability on April 27th in conjunction with Westfield Culver City's Good Festival! Learn about the Culver City’s services for eco-friendly living, sample vegetarian delights, recycle clothing with Uniqlo, get crafty with the kids and groove to live music from local songwriter and musician Dave Kopatz and the Kicking Giants, a three-piece pop/classic rock band playing crowd favorites. Bring your dancing shoes!

Love Local Play Date x The Steps @ Town Plaza

Thursday, May 23rd (4 PM -7 PM)
9300 Culver Boulevard ~ Culver City, CA 90232

Take a break and come out to Downtown Culver City for a game night and "play" date on Thursday, May 23rd. Grab friends and family to play oversized games in the Plaza while enjoying live music on The Steps. Love movies? Compete in Movie Trivia Night with food/drink specials at The Culver Theater! Rather just relax?  Choose one of our amazing Downtown spots for delicious food and start the weekend early!  

Love Local Makers Market  x Helms Bakery District

Friday, June 28th (1PM  - 6PM)
Helms Walk (Washington Boulevard and Helms Avenue)

Enjoy an afternoon of shopping from curated makers and live music while exploring amazing design and showrooms along Helms Walk in the Helms Bakery District. Interested in being a vendor? Apply to be a Love Local Makers Market vendor.

Consider taking the bus or using other mobility options to attend the event including the City’s new Circulator that connects Downtown to the Culver City ELine (Expo) Station! Plan your trip by calling (310) 253-6500, visiting the Culver CityBus website, or using the Next CCBus app that provides real time bus locations, trip planning and bus occupancy levels. Learn more about the parking in downtown Culver City and please avoid parking in residential neighborhoods. To take the circulator, look out for “Board Here” signs!
